Welcome to Vegas get together - Friday 8/26/11 7pm

The night before the wedding we would like to welcome everyone to Vegas and invite you all to join us in the Vista Suite at Mandalay Bay for appetizers and drinks.

Ceremony......Mandalay Bay's Valley of the Falls

We haven't actually seen this location in person but I've read great things about the location.  My wedding coordinator, Aleena, at Mandalay Bay has been great to work with so far.  I mean I have so much time before the wedding so there really isn't very much for either her or I do at this point. 

Double Decker Bus Strip Photo Tour
8/27/11 5:30 - 7:30 pm 

So since our ceremony and reception are in different locations we wanted to provide transportation for the guests to get from one place to the next.  We decided on getting a double decker bus so we could fit everyone together and take a trip down the strip.  We will have music and drinks and we will stop along the way to take advantage of some photo opps.  The bus will then drop us off at the reception which starts at 7:30.

We have decided to have a DJ after all so we will have all our dances here and there will be dancing for everyone after dinner.  We had a menu tasting in May and it was awesome!!  I can't say enough how happy I am with our decision to have our reception here.  

After Party.....

We aren't planning anything really specific at this point we figure those that want to go out will and those that don't can do their own thing.  So we are thinking that picking a loungy bar/club at Mandalay Bay where we can dance if we want but isn't a full scale club would be better.  There wouldn't be a cover so that would be the best option I think.  We are looking at Eye Candy I just haven't finalized any details because I'm not sure if we need to let them know we are coming or if we could possibly just show up with those that want to go out.  (UPDATED 6/22/11)
