How to get there and where to stay
I'm planning to put any & all travel related info here on this page so that people can see all of the options I have been able to come up with.
Just to give everyone an idea of location on the strip for those that have never been. The wedding is at Mandalay Bay, which is at the far end of the strip by the Welcome sign, the hotels closest to it would be Luxor, Excalibur, Tropicana, MGM & New York New York. The reception dinner is at Ceasars Palace which is more in the middle of the strip and hotels closest to there are Bellagio, Mirage, Harrah's & Treasure Island. Stuff in between the two are Paris, Monte Carlo, Planet Hollywood, Aria. Here is a great strip map for reference.

I have also found that if you sign up to receive email from the hotels that they will periodically send you deals on rates so that might be worth doing. For instance, recently Mandalay Bay had a promo where if you were on their email list you had a promo code for 30% off rooms.

I have gotten the room block info from Mandalay Bay and the group code is G08JAC and the # is 1-877-632-9001. The rooms are $145.99 from 8/26/11 through 8/29/11. I am still waiting on the info from the travel agent and will post once I have that info.
We also want to make sure everyone knows that you do not have to stay at Mandalay Bay, you are free to stay where ever you like. We did get the room block for those that want to stay where there ceremony is being held but we know that you may be able to get a better rate at other hotels and that is cool with us, it's totally up to you, we are just excited for those of you that are going to join us on our big day!
